Description

“We’re looking for a few good men…”

If the Marine Corps recruiting office was open on Christmas Day, Tracy probably should’ve known something unusual was going on.

This is the untold story of a quirky young woman who chose to enlist in the United States Marine Corps as a way to escape her small-town life in Florida. Now, she’s navigating one of the most testosterone-fueled branches of the military.

Tracy’s journey takes her across the globe—from rowdy bars and foreign brothels to intense war zones. Through blood, sweat, tears, and plenty of baffling moments, she offers a rare glimpse into the life of a female Marine—an experience both challenging and eye-opening. Told from the perspective of a low-ranking enlisted Marine, The Girl in the Gun Club is a story of standing out in a place where fitting in seems like the only option.
